Vincent Landreth
Vincent is a longtime resident of Pomona CA though he spent his formative years throughout highschool and his early 20s in Riverside CA. Like all children in kindergarten he started drawing and painting. The need to make art never subsided and he continued throughout the years. Landreth developed his art the most in highschool while doodling in class when he should have been writting and paying attention. He learned a few fundamental practices in art design in a failed attempt to further his education as a graphic designer. Aside from that he is a completely self taught artist. When asked why he makes art his best answer is,"It's a natural compulsion I have and I am lucky enough to be able to translate my thoughts through my hands". He was inspired early on by comic books which is reflected especialy in his early works. His earlier works were predominatly pencil and ink drawings but has since found a passion for digital painting and more recently began traditional painting. Only showing his work since 2010 he is finding an increasing need to produce more and get involved in the local art community.
