8/9 Opening Reception @ DBA256
Erns Valdez Will be curating the artwork for DBA256 for the month of Aug. A little last minute but if anyone can pull off a big showing of art and music with little notice it's Erns. Join us on Thursday August 9th for the opening reception of the show titled, "It's our time down here". We'll be showcasing a large volume of artwork by local artists. Truly a great show to see the variety of art Pomona has to offer. We're currently booking musicians to perform. Please check back for updated info.
The name of the show has a few meanings. Erns has wanted to host a show at DBA for a few years now and sees this as a great milestone in his artistic career. Having passed up many opportunities to move to other arts districts, galleries and storefronts in other areas. Erns decided long ago he'd never ride up Troy's bucket and would follow through with his adventures in the Pomona Arts Colony.
