Welcome to Loft Beats

Loft Beats is a unique artist studio located in the Downtown Pomona Artist Colony.
Loft Beats is open every second Saturday of every month. Every second Saturday the Downtown Pomona Artist Colony has an Art Walk. There are over 30 galleries in the downtown area as well as multiple concert venues, a farmer's market, excellent restaurants and lively bars.

News

Drop off/Submission Day 5/16 4pm-6pm

This Weds from 4pm to 6pm Loft Beats will be open for pick up of art from last weekends show and the submission day for next months open show. Next month we'll have another open show. There is no theme for the show, just looking to display as much art as we can by local artists. This show is open to all artists, all styles of art and all ages. Loft Beats is a great place for emerging artists to show as well as established artists who are looking for a hassle free and affordable venue to display art. There is a $10 entry fee and we ask 20% commission of sales. There is no fees or commission for artists 18 and under. Artwalk this weekend!!

Every month on the 2nd and last Saturday the ArtWalk brings big crowds to the streets. Over 3 dozen galleries host artist receptions for their latest exhibits. Many shops, studios and restaurants open late. There is no better way to get a feel for the lively community that hundreds of artists have built here. Experience the diverse array of top quality art work, ceramics, fiber, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography and more. It’s FREE. End of March and April Events

Here we go again!! The loft will be open on Saturday March 31st for the closing reception of the Star Wars Art Show. This is also the pick up/drop off day for the paricipating artists.

April 14th Loft Beats will be hosting a solo show for Oscar Christerna. His show will be from 5pm to 10pm. Loft Beats will also be having a huge event over at The Drink eat and lounge located at The Fox Theater. We'll have 3 levels of awesomess for you! The Lounge will open at 5. In the lounge you will find a full bar and our sponsor Tequila 88 will be having a free tequila tasting from 8 to 10. In the alley starting at 8pm we'll have live music by Jenni Alpert, The Truffles and Jarrett Killen with his band The Blanket Jackson. On the rooftop of the Fox Theater we'll have the DJ crew TCT (The City Technicians). At 11pm We will have some stand up by Len Jurado, Tibi Perez and Chris Cruz.

The best part about this event is it is FREE!!! No cover, no lines, no drama, just good music, good laughs and good vibes. That's how Loft Beats does it!!

May/June Open Shows

April we have a solo show by Oscar Christerna.

May and June we will be hosting Open shows!! No themes, we just want a lot of art. These shows are open to all artists, ages, styles, skill levels. For more info use the contact form or email erns@loftbeats.com

Loft Beats would like to thank everyone involved in the planning, production and promoting of The Loft Beats Star Wars Show , The AWOL ONE Release Party and the Art Walk After Party. Thanks to Jeff Darvell of The Drink Eats and Lounge for letting us use The Drink and The Alley of The Fox Theater, the two best bartenders, Jen and Weezy and the 3 best security guards. AWOL One for letting Loft Beats host his event, Loft Beats Intern Tomas Higa for his hard work, Mr. Alex Torrez for all his work on putting the Star Wars Show together and running Loft Beats in my absence, The DJ crew TCT for puting the Beats in Loft Beats, Larry Egan and Lorane Marrita for helping the arts colony get the food trucks back!! And most of all we'd like to thank all the fans, returning guests and new faces that made it out and supported our event. Thank you all.

March and April Events

March is a big month for Loft Beats. We are currently putting together the Star Wars Art Show. Show will be held on March 10th and we already have a line up of fine artists. We are currently still taking submissions for this show as well as inviting fans to come out in costume.

Loft Beats is working with AWOL ONE of The ShapeShifters to host the relase party for his new series of art. The release party will be held at the The Drink, Eats and Lounge located at The Fox Theater on March 10th. If we anticipate over 100 guests we will either extend the party to the rooftop of the theater or into the Lobby.

That's right two big events on one night! after we close doors of the Star Wars show we will hold an after party at The Drink and merge with AWOL's after party which is also being hosted by Loft Beats featuring TCT (DJ frank Marina, DJ Kinky Eskimo and Kiz).

March 16th Erns of Loft Beats will judge an artshow hosted by Congresman Joe Bacca. More info to come
